Good quality fishing for the disabled angler especially on natural waters can be hard to find, so here's a few links I hope will help. If you know of any other good fishing spots or useful links please send them to me.

The British Disabled Angling Association is a good place to start, the website has loads of info.

Norwich Disabled Angling club is the only disabled club in the area I know of.

Disabled fishing platform at peg 17 in the No1 pit. Harleston Fishing Club has done what it can to provide some excellent purpose made disabled fishing platforms where the terrain will allow.


Disabled trout angler Harry Heath informs me Chigborough Fisheries near Maldon Essex (Chigborough Road off the B1026 at Heybridge) a combined Trout and Coarse Fishery, the Home Waters lake has wheelchair access, 10 Jetties safe with raised freeboard edges, also disabled access to the fishing lodge and a disabled loo in the lodge.Contact the Fishery office 01621 857368, Bailiff's Mobile 07702244440, Bailiffs Office 01621 852113 for details and bookings.
