The competitions overall winner is decided using the competitors top four results from the six match series allowing the two lowest results to be discarded.

Caden Spooner in action.New Club Champion Edward Howman made full use of the rules to discard a lowly ninth place in round one with his second victory of the season and move to the top of the table with an unassailable lead landing the title with one match remaining with an impressive two wins and two seconds to total 78 points. Edward latest and all important win came from peg eight on the road bank a noted hotspot, he attacked his peg balling in groundbait on the whistle and fishing long pole with Maggot hookbait over the top he battled hard to land Roach and an all important big bonus skimmer to weigh 3lb 13oz and pip Caden Spooner by just three ounces.

Caden Spooner again fished an impressive match to finish with second place, drawn on peg 14 again a noted area he attacked with groundbait at eight metres, fishing close to aid the youngsters presentation. Caden netted Roach from the start with some good fish of eight ounces gracing the landing net, he then moved in close as his swim died topping his catch up with small Perch to weigh 3lb10oz well clear of the rest of the field. Caden now moves to fifth place in the table with 70 points only two points behind second placed Daniel Elliott.

Scott Allen had this bonus Skimmer to thank for his third place.Scott Allen landed third his highest placing so far in competition with a 1lb 8oz catch, Scott fished a four metre whip to hand over groundbait to land small Roach and again an all important bonus skimmer to push him ahead of the chasing pack and up to sixth place with 65 points.
