Harleston and Wortwell Junior Angling Club

Second Round Middle Pit

A warm overcast evening again promised some good bags, but the fish had not read the script again, leaving some anglers struggling for fish. James Bygrave fishing peg 24 made the most of the calm conditions to take top spot with 11lb 10oz. Three good carp all taken on his favorite method, surface fishing with a waggler and chum mixers.

Second Place

The runner up prize went to eleven year old Carl Shiplee with two nice commons weighing 8lb 13oz from peg 22. Both fish fell to double caster pole fished close in to the lilies.

Third Place and Golden Maggot

Daniel Hines took third place and the Golden Maggot prize with his small fish catch of 3lb 4oz, Daniel collected £9 for his double win
