N.F.A. National.

This year the National Federation of Anglers Junior Championship was held at Woodland View Fishery in Droitwich. We entered a six-man team in the match that was 195 miles away. The team didn't have a practice buy we felt confident as it was a carp water, which is what we mainly fish at Weybread.
National Results :

Section A Average weight (3762g)
Ricky fished this lake, which was long and rectangular. Ricky fished very well at what he does best fishing for roach with maggot hook bait all match, he added a few carp to his net to add weight well done to him with top points coming 5th in his section out of 25 with 5500g.

Section B (6706g)
Daniel fished this lake which was almost identical to the one Ricky had. Daniel was top weight from the team on the day. Daniel caught most of his fish shallow in the first hour. Coming 10th in the section with 6650g.

Section C (4968g)
James fished high pool that looked full of fish but didn't produce very well. Beating both pegs either side of him he did very well on a new 'carp puddle' with 2320g and 6 trusty points.

Section D (5338g) Edward drew this lake, which was the only one with an island. Ed had a big bream and some carp to weigh 5400g. (Only 540* the weight he had last year lol) Ed again beat both pegs beside him to get 15 points.

Section E (2486g) Jack (Captain) drew this lake and had fish jumping all over the lake but they were cruising and not in a feeding mood. He also learnt this time that he had to feed caster to catch the fish in his peg, this he learnt from a England under 16 on his left. Lesson learnt AGAIN!! I was surprised at coming 10th in my section the same as Dan and Ed with 2500g.

Section F (4590g) Philip the frog (Frog bit is in short story) fished at his best to catch the fish on this lake. He plumbed up the margins and there was only 6 inchs of water as these are the newest lakes at the fishery. Frog did well to get 1800g and 7 welcome points.
